Get in Touch

Need to reach someone about this site? The contact route here works for questions about the private reference service itself. Anything else goes elsewhere. Custody questions, release dates, charges, booking photos, court files, and official records all belong with the agency that created or holds them. This service can't confirm a person's status or fetch a record on anyone's behalf.

What This Contact Route Can Do

The private operator behind these pages handles a narrow set of messages. Broken links fit that box. So do factual errors and general site questions. What a message here cannot do is reach anyone in government. The Sheriff, Marion Police, Old Fort Police, the Clerk of Court, NCDAC, BOP, and ICE all sit outside this inbox. A note sent here is never a public-records request. Skip sensitive personal information too.

McDowell County Busted Mugshots is a private site. It holds no government power. That means no custody confirmations, no booking photos or records pulled on request, no edits to a court file, and no help arranging a jail visit. Legal advice is off the table as well.

Where Records Questions Go

Go to the source that actually holds the record you want. One more tip: call ahead. Hours, procedures, and phone numbers change often.

After a county booking record or photo? Start with the Sheriff or the detention line. Ask who the current public-records custodian is. The Sheriff's official contact page is the right first stop.

Marion's online report page covers one thing: motor-vehicle crash reports. Booking photos are not part of it. Old Fort's current site shows no public arrest log. Ask each department directly about its records procedure.

Courts and Corrections

For courts, the McDowell County court directory covers the Clerk, magistrates, and routing questions. Public case and docket searches run through the eCourts Portal, though the Portal is not the official court record.

State-prison and community-supervision records go through NCDAC Public Records. Federal or immigration custody checks use the BOP or ICE locator. VINELink sends custody notifications, not booking photos.

Messages and Legal Limits

Messages sent here get read for site matters only. That's the whole scope. A contact note can't pause a court deadline, fix a government file, or force a third-party page to take something down. For a legal question, talk with a licensed North Carolina attorney or a legal-aid service.
